Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has conducted a private visit to former military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Hill Top house in Minna, the capital of Niger State.
He was escorted from Ahmed Bola Tinubu International Airport, Minna, by officers from the government house protocol.
Obasanjo engaged in a closed-door conversation with the former Nigerian leader for almost 30 minutes before returning to the airport.
The visit appears to be related to national issues or the 2027 general elections, however no official announcement has been released.
Recently, Obasanjo hosted prominent figures from opposing political parties in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
An official statement regarding the objective of the visit has not yet been released.
